Adolf Hitler and his Hasty Generalizationsss

Ok, so today in class we read this text from Adolf Hitler, which he wrote in jail. We could tell that he was loosing his mind when he was writing this. He was some crazy dude. The definition of a hasty generalization is a conclusion on the basis of insufficient evidence. If you guys are confused with this definiton, ima break it, up, it basically is something based on something that can't really be proven true. The cause of hasty generalization is by predjustices, which are judgments made before knowing all of the facts. For example: If you walk under a ladder then you are gonna get bad luck. Someone might have said that because they walked under a ladder and then got hit by a frisbe.
Faulty use of authority is attempts yo add creditability to a claim by citing the opinions of supposed experts. An example: I say, Death Metal is the best genre of music. Thats only my opinion, of course not everyone in the world is gonna agree with me, but myself, and some other awsome people. See I did it again! They might only be awsome to me 0_o.
Post Hoc or Doubtful Cause means after this therefore because of this. The first event caused the second. Example: I got in a fight with my mother, therefore I got sad, so I started drinking until I passed out so I wouldnt have to remember the fight. Getting into a fight caused me to drink.
False Analogy is a false analogy when an analogy is descriptive, but does not offer proof of a connection, Two things are being compared. Example: Obama is the new black. lol enough said, you all get me.
Ad Hominem is "agianst the man" yo. Example: She shops at hollister, is preppy and is the captin of the cheerleading team, what a dumb bimbo! haha! This time it is against the preppy cheerleader.
Flase dilema is an argument poses an either it situation Example: You can either do your math homework or be barefoot pregnant in the kitchen! So do your math homework and bring your book! Props Mr. Steffen! yeeeeaaah!
Slippery Slope is simular to post hoc, an arguer commits te slippery slope fallacy when he claims that talking a first step will ivevitably cause a second with evidence. Example: Makin abortion legal will lead to murder of the old man...?
Begging the Quesion is aruguer assumes that the question being argued has already been proved. Example: Men should not join the feminist club because they are not women.
Straw Man is a fallacy that consists of an attack on a view similar to, but not the same as the one you opponent holds. Example: I think global warming should end because I don't like polar bears dying.
yessss sirrrr!
