Claims

Ok, today in philosophy class we learned about the types of claims and watched Apollo 13! The first type of claim is Claims of Fact, which is that is asserts that something is or will be true, for example I could be telling someone that a mad serial killer set his house on fire, and its a fact because it is on the news and there are wanted posters of him everywhere. There is also Claims of Value which is an attempt to prove the action, belief, or condition is right or wrong. Like I could say Death Metal is the best genre of music in the world! But thats my opinion people could disagree or agree with me. We also got Claims of Policy, yay! It argues that certain conditions should exist. Like if i said Animal testing should be banned everywhere! I am saying the word SHOULD which is a sign of this. Yaya!!
